Marsh and Meadow Creative Co. is led by Michelle Ellis, a copywriter and creative director from coastal Massachusetts. Her creative approach is quirky, honest and optimistic, bringing forth clear and memorable communication for her clients
I worked with Michelle during the Summer of 2020 to create a logomark and color scheme for her freelance copywriting business
Our creative direction was inspired by the flora found in the “marshes” and “meadows” that exist within the woodsy, coastal environment that she’s from. The colors and shapes created were inspired by the works of Matisse and Marimekko.
Brand foundations & position
Being an independent creative copywriter, Michelle understood the importance of establishing a distinguishable brand presence.
She felt a deep connection to her roots and geographical location in coastal Massachusetts, and she wanted her visual identity to mirror where she’s from, the the flora that come with it.
